I first started using iWeb to create this website in order to test my creative skills on my wife’s iMac!  I owned an Apple IIc in high school (back in the mid-80s), but I have owned PCs since attending college at the University of Texas.  The legal profession is dominated by PCs, and consequently my law firm and other web presence is all built on, published with, and managed by PCs.  This web site will be my creative escape from that world into the Mac world!  Who knows, maybe some day I will consolidate my efforts and concentrate my publishing and creative efforts on this and other Macs.

Please allow me to briefly introduce myself to you:  I am a 38-year-old attorney living in Houston, Texas.  I have my own firm in downtown Houston and limit my practice to litigation practice to the areas of commercial, construction, probate, consumer, and creditor rights law.  My clients are primarily businesses, both big and small.  I also am a leader within the legal community, as I’m currently President of both the Mexican-American Bar Association of Houston and the Mexican American Bar Association of Texas.  I have led other organizations and hope to continue my leadership roles in the future.  I also sit on other boards, both within and outside of the legal profession.

My wife and I are both cancer survivors and are stronger for it.  I’ve been married to Annette for almost 16 years now and have lived more of my life with her than without her.  We have no children, but have a little dog named Ziggy.  I hope you enjoy my journey as I describe a lawyer’s life, and more specifically, my life!
